Racing is the only way to go really much faster as a track day rider,
It takes you out of your comfort zone and pushes you to brake a little later and open the throttle much sooner.
We created the Sunday Cup to do just that, a controlled event where normal track day riders can experience the thrill of racing in a controlled environment on their own bikes.
To keep the serious costs out of it we allow all bikes in any group the riders choose to race in. We make sure it is fair as there are time limits, meaning you choose a suitable category and race your 1000cc against a 600cc, keeping in mind we regulate the time and not the performance of the motorcycle so should a rider go too fast then he/she will break out of the minimum allowed time for such category and receive a 20 second penalty per lap, remember no timing devices are allowed! This format is affordable and fun and above all very fair as we have every riders best lap time of the day before and during the race so sand bagging is something of the past as we will not allow a rider who can achieve faster times in a slower group.
What do I need to do to my bike ?
Your must lock wire your front brake callipers, sump plug and oil cap, duct tape your mirrors if you can not remove them and that's it!
What Clothing do I need?
You need to have proper riding gear, gloves, boots, one or two piece leathers and a helmet off course.
Do I need a license?
You do not need a public license but a racing license.
It is simple, complete the Club membership form and Womza
circuit racing form then send to us with your once off annual payment and you are good to go!
